A reality star and model Eglantine-Flore Aguilar has revealed to the Sun UK, how Man U defender Timothy Fosu- Mensah asked her for a three some with teammate Anthony Martial and even allegedly asked her for nude snaps and a lap dance. She claimed Fosu-Mensah told her to 'bring a friend' and asked 'can you handle 2 vs 1? Two black guys.''



This report, if true, could land the 18 year old in serious trouble with Man U coach Louis Van Gaal who is a well known disciplinarian and values his players' discipline above everything else.


Reality star Eglantine, 23, speaking to the Sun said :

“Timothy might think he’s a man now he’s in United’s first team, but in reality he’s just a lost little boy.He doesn’t have even the slightest idea about how to charm a woman.”

According to the Sun, Fosu- Mensah started flirting with her after following her on Instagram and liking her pictures on April 13. He sent her his phone number through Direct message before they started chatting on WhatsApp.

He exchanged messages mostly flirty ones with her before he asked Eglantine when she turns 24.
When she revealed the date, he replied: “Birthday sex?”

Eglantine responded: “Lol lets see.”

Fosu-Mensah then suggested: “My birthday is next week. I want that as well.”

He then cajoled her to add him on Snapchat, where users can send pics that disappear after a few seconds.

He went on to ask: “You like Black **** lol? Black guys I mean.”

When she asked what type of women he likes, he replied: “Big ass big t**s. Race doesnt matter.”

The pair allegedly continued to send  messages on Snapchat and WhatsApp over the next few days.
Then on Friday April 15, Fosu-Mensah went to Manchester’s Lowry Hotel ahead of their Premier League game against Aston Villa the next day.
He video-chatted the model then got Martial, 20,  who recently broke up with his 19 year old wife to join in the chat.

Eglantine added: “He (Fosu-Mensah) said he was bored staying at a hotel and wanted to video talk.
He then put Anthony on camera. He was much more charming and sweeter and clearly knew how to talk to a woman.
“We just chatted normally in French for a few minutes. It was very pleasant. Then as soon as it was back to Timothy it was all about the sex.”

After the match Fosu-Mensah messaged her
“Just got back from game. Was good we won.”Anthony say come with a friend.”

Eglantine replied: “When. Myself is enough no? Lool”

But he then asked: “2v1 Can you handle? 2 Black guys.”

When she replied saying she was joking and will come with a friend, he responded:

The pair continued to message on WhatsApp, before Mensah angrily told her

Fosu- Mensah replied: “Comon.”

'Timothy is clearly letting the fame and fortune get to his head.' she continued to tell The Sun.
When we started messaging, he was very flirty and complimentary, and I was flattered. I went along with his chat as it was a bit of fun and I thought he would calm down. Boys can be all talk at times.

“But it soon became clear that all he wanted was to have sex with me, and he even had the nerve to beg for Martial to join in.There was no way I was going to start sending him naked pictures less than a week after first talking to him.”

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has described the death of six medical doctors and one driver in the State, in an accident involving a 13-passenger bus as the lowest point in the history of the State and a monumental loss not only to the people of Ekiti State but to Nigerians, declaring a three days of mourning for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The governor, who directed that all flags should be flown at half-mast, described the death as an eclipse of professional and intellectual figures, who lost their lives in active service to mankind, saying; “Ekiti has lost some of the best trees in its forest of medicine. I am deeply sad. This is one loss too many.”

In a release issued by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, Governor Fayose said; “Death of seven prominent indigenes of a State in one day and at the same period is a burden too heavy to bear and it is my prayer that God, who is the only giver and taker of live will give Ekiti people the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”

The six doctors, who had an accident a few kilometres to Kaduna on their way to Sokoto to attend Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) event were Dr Aladesanmi of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Ido-Ekiti; Dr Ojo Taiwo of the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH); NMA Secretary, Dr Akinyele Lexy; Dr Ogunseye of the Health Management Board (HMB); EKSUTH Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) President, Dr Olajide, Dr Adeniyi James of the FMC and a driver, Mr Ajibola.

The governor urged families, friends and professional colleagues of the deceased, especially members of the NMA to solace in God who giveth and taketh when it pleases Him. “It is my prayer that tragic incident like this will not be witnessed in Ekiti State again and that God in His infinite mercies will console the families of the deceased.

“On behalf of my family, Government and people of Ekiti State, I express our heartfelt condolence for the loss of these promising sons of Ekiti and wish their families, friends and professional colleagues the continued support and guidance of the Almighty God,” the governor said.

Female genital mutilation (FGM) is big business. It’s trans-global and sometimes organised by centuries-old formal agencies, on a for-profit basis. Like most other efficient businesses, it markets itself as in the interest of the consumer, into whose lifestyle expectations it is firmly embedded.
These observations imply no disrespect for the immense suffering which FGM causes. Across the globe there are probably 200 million women and girls now alive who have experienced (and survived) FGM.

Cutters are often paid. Until recently nearly all excisors were medically untrained, but increasingly, excision is undertaken by qualified clinicians, giving FGM in the eyes of some, a veneer of respectability. The World Health Organisation regards the medicalisation of FGM as the greatest threat to its final eradication.
FGM boosts low-paid medical workers’ incomes, and attracts kudos and power for traditional excisors in communities where other high-status work is hard to come by.

Horrific gateway to the adult world

In some areas of Africa, deeply rooted ‘tradition’ demands that local girls undergo FGM, and sometimes other harmful traditional practices (beading, breast ironing etc), if they are to gain access to a husband and the adult world.
Without FGM they are considered ‘unclean’; perhaps they will be cast aside from their community. The economic prospects for the girl and her family (as they will receive no bride price) may be as dire as those of the excisors, if FGM is abandoned.

An estimated 10-30% of those who undergo FGM may die from it, either directly because shock, haemorrhage or infection, or from further complications when giving birth. Infants whose mothers die or cannot care for them have a much higher likelihood of dying as well. Women’s much needed contributions to the local economy, of labour and enterprise, are lost.
Then there’s the difficult question of land. In some traditional African communities women own land in their own right. But women who have not had FGM may be refused adult status, and so the land may go back to their menfolk. Instead of becoming modern citizens by refusing mutilation, women may therefore be reduced to the status of chattels.

Diaspora: a marriage at what cost?

In western societies FGM may itself cause the very outcome it is intended, back ‘home’, to avoid. Girls experiencing FGM in places such as the UK may, like their African counterparts, withdraw from school, especially as they reach puberty, resulting in an alienation from mainstream society.
Given the huge human and hidden fiscal costs of not addressing FGM in the developing world, should UK Aid be conditional, in those countries most affected, on solid evidence that FGM is being tackled by the domestic authorities?
Demanding an end to FGM would hit several universal targets, including health, efficient use of funds, and human rights. It could be more feasibly achieved by developing world national governments than putting an effective stop to corruption or re-couping lost tax.
Somehow, the message has to be brought home, that FGM is a very costly crime. Ultimately, that can only happen if those in governments and international agencies with the most influence, are willing to speak out and provide real leadership. Has anyone done the math?

An Ikeja High Court has refused former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro's request for an order of injunction against some media publications to stop them from publishing news about him and retract all previous damaging news publications via a letter of apology through their various media platforms.

Obanikoro had filed a suit after the defendants (Premium Times, Punch newspapers and Sahara Reporters) allegedly published an audio of how he with others allegedly plotted to rig the the Ekiti governorship polls.

He claimed that these organisations had shared damaging material which made him to suffer various political and personal losses.

Justice Oluwatoyin Ipaye, in her ruling, described Obanikoro’s application as lacking in merit and stated that an injunction was inappropriate as the application had no merit.  

According to her, 'It is an error to seek to restrain a publisher of an article on the grounds of libel if there is no proof before the court that such material is libelous'

Oxfordshire farmer, Isobel Bowden was left devastated after discovering that 40 of her new born lambs were savagely beaten and killed in one night by dogs that had been left outside by their owners. In a facebook post, the heartbroken farmer warned dog owners of the damage their pets can do when they are let loose and not controlled. She then posted graphic photos of the 40 dead lambs, and some injured ones, appealing to owners to make sure their dogs are kept indoors overnight so as to prevent another incident from happening. President Buahri says that he was yet to be convinced that the vast majority of ordinary Nigerians will derive any tangible benefit from a devaluation of the Naira. Speaking at a meeting with members of the Council of Retired Federal Permanent Secretaries, President Buhari said that he still held the conviction which motivated his principled resistance to devaluation in his first tenure as Head of State.

"When I was military Head of State, the IMF and the World Bank wanted us devalue the Naira and remove petrol subsidy but I stood my grounds for the good of Nigeria. The Naira remained strong against the Dollar and other foreign currencies until I was removed from office in August, 1985 and it was devalued. But how many factories were built and how many jobs were created by the devaluation? That is why I'm still asking to be convinced today on the benefits of devaluation," President Buhari told the retired Permanent Secretaries led by Otunba Christopher Tugbobo.

President Buhari welcomed the Council's pledge of support for the successful implementation of his administration's Change Agenda, especially in the priority areas of improving security, curbing corruption and revitalizing the national economy.

"I am glad you have rightly identified the key issues we campaigned on. We need a dynamic bureaucracy which will not mislead us into taking wrong decisions," the President said

The Council of Retired Federal Permanent Secretaries was established in 2004 to serve as a platform for retired permanent secretaries to offer constructive advice to government on key policy issues. Chief Philip Asiodu, the Pioneer Chairman of the Council, said that its members want the present Administration to succeed because Nigeria has already lost many opportunities for progress.

"We are non-partisan. The interest of Nigeria is paramount to us and we are anxious that you should succeed," Chief Asiodu told the President.

Below is the statement issued today, April 22, by Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, Acting Director Army Public Relations:

In continuation of clearance operations of the remnants of Boko Haram terrorists, troops of 7 Division in Operation Lafiya Dole have been making tremendous progress in their various areas of operational responsibilities.

They were able to carry out clearance operations, raids and patrols that resulted in the killing of so many suspected Boko Haram terrorists, arrests and rescue of persons, as well as recovery of arms and ammunitions.


On Thursday, 21st April 2016, troops of 21 Brigade Nigerian Army carried out clearance operations at Bulari, Tori 1, 2 and 3 during which they successfully cleared the general area of remnants of Boko Haram terrorists.
During the operation, 10 terrorists were killed and one was captured alive. Unfortunately, 2 Civilian JTF accompanying the troops lost their lives. The troops rescued 7 civilians and recovered a Volkswagen Golf car, 15 bicycles and various bags of foodstuffs.

The troops of 22 Brigade on the other hand intercepted 26 persons comprising mostly women and children, coming towards Adah village in Ngala Local Government Area of Borno State, who on interrogation stated that they were held hostage by Boko Haram terrorists, but escaped as their captors were moving towards Lake Chad general area because of troops presence.
Similarly, troops of the same Brigade carried out a fighting patrol, cordon and search operation on Thursday 21st April 2016, along Dikwa-Marte road, Kaje, Selenge, Manekura, Mane Gana and Gawayi villages. Although there wasn’t any encounter with the terrorists, the troops recovered 5 motorcycles, 6 Boko Haram terrorists flags and 4 bags of grinded corn in Mane Gana village. They also rescued 3 women and 5 children at the same village. The rescued persons told the troops that their husbands were actually Boko Haram terrorists who have ran away towards Lake Chad area due to immense pressure from the military clearance operations.

On their part, troops of 3 Battalion also conducted patrol towards Diema, Sigel and Kala in which they had an encounter with Boko Haram terrorists in which the gallant troops killed 8 of them and recovered 2 Dane Guns and 4 assorted batteries.
The troops of 7 Division Special Fighting Forces attached to 25 Task Force Brigade Damboa, at a checkpoint, arrested a suspected Boko Haram terrorist, Abubakar Bello and 6 other suspects carrying 28 gallons of “Turkey” brand of vegetable oil, 8 bags of flour, 130 crates of soft drinks and 2 bags of sugar. In addition, 5 mobile telephone handsets, 1 external hard drive and 5 flash drives, 2 national identity cards and the sum of Seventy Thousand Naira (N70,000.00k) only were recovered from him. Preliminary investigation discovered that the terrorists now dilute the vegetable oil with other substances to produce diesel to power their generators.

The troops of 254 Task Force Battalion in conjunction with vigilantes and Borno Youths Empowerment Scheme (BOYES), also carried out clearance operations at Mufurundi, Kaleri, Masemari, Bego, Bale, Gadzama and Gagantilo villages along Damboa-Bale-Gwoza road. During the operation, the troops encountered and detonated an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), buried by the terrorists at Gadzama village. They also encountered Boko Haram terrorists at Bego where they engaged the terrorists, neutralized them and cleared their camps within the general area. In the encounter, the troops killed 9 Boko Haram terrorists and recovered 1 AK-47 rifle with registration number TH5712 and 17 rounds of 7.62mm (Special) ammunition. They also rescued 157 persons held hostages by the terrorists.

The troops of 26 Task Force Brigade stationed in Gwoza yesterday also intercepted 8 suspected Boko Haram terrorists, trying to enter Gwoza town. Though they claimed to be farmers coming from Shiadawey, Takwala and Amdaga Madachi villages respectively, which were known terrorists hideouts, preliminary investigations showed that they were indeed terrorists on a recruitment drive. This was made manifest when the sum of Six Hundred and Thirty Seven Thousand (N637,000.00k) Naira was discovered on Abdullahi Yakubu who was identified by another escapee/suspected Boko Haram terrorist as having trading links with the terrorists while the others were confirmed to have participated in carrying out various terrorists acts for the Boko Haram terrorists group. Similarly, one Ibrahim Bute aged 67 years, of Gobara village was arrested by the troops on suspicion of being a Boko Haram kingpin.

Troops of 114 Task Force Battalion of 28 Task Force Brigade also conducted a fighting patrol along Bitta-Madube-Izge axis same day.
The troops of 117 Task Force Battalion following a tip off, also arrested a suspected Boko Haram terrorist who gave his name as Bello Isah at Mugulvu village. The unit also discovered and retrieved 29 rounds of 7.62mm (Special) rounds of ammunition hidden at a farm in Gella village.
The troops in various deployments within the theatre remain vigilant with soaring morale and committed to their duties of clearing the remnants of the Boko Haram terrorists hiding in various remote corners and crannies.
